Please arrive with your hair freshly shampooed, free of product buildup, and in its natural state for proper evaluation and test loc placement. A shampoo service may be added when booking if needed.

Customized precision grid installation tailored to your specific hair pattern, density, and lifestyle.

A Sisterlocks™ Consultation must be completed prior to booking this service.

All appointments are subject to approval. Clients who have not completed the required Sisterlocks™ Consultation should not be approved for an installation appointment.

Routine maintenance to preserve your grid integrity, prevent loc fusion, and support ongoing scalp and hair growth.

For clients with existing Sisterlocks™ established by another consultant. Includes an initial assessment of the grid, new growth, and overall loc condition before maintenance.

How often should I schedule my retightening?

We recommend scheduling your retightening appointment every 6–8 weeks to preserve your grid pattern and prevent new growth fusion.

Do I need to band my Sisterlocks™ before shampooing?

Yes. Banding and braiding your Sisterlocks™ prior to shampooing is essential during the early stages to prevent slippage.

What products should I avoid?

Avoid heavy oils, waxes, creams, butters, gels, and products that leave heavy residue on your locs.

Should I sleep with a satin bonnet?

Yes. Sleeping with a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase minimizes friction, prevents frizz, and preserves moisture.

Can I color my Sisterlocks™?

Yes. Color services can be performed on Sisterlocks™, but we strongly recommend having them done professionally to preserve hair health.

What if I notice slippage or a damaged loc?

Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact SisterLoc Shop immediately to schedule a professional repair assessment.
